Much has happened in teh last few months and now Father Nolan is to retire to a well deserved rest.
I know that I and my family have had much support and compassion from Father during times of sadness and bereavement. May Father enjoy his retirement fully. Though he will be sorely missed it is time to move on . Thank you Father Nolan for all you have done for Anerley parish and its parishioners.
We look forward to welcoming Father Sunith Nonis in September.
Hard to believe the year is moving so fast. I have been doing the web-site for a while and am getting quicker at it though not very experienced at trrying new things. I feel a little scared to experiment in case it all goes pear-shaped.
I do need feedback to know if the site is useful, but to date nothing has been forthcoming.
Ah well time will tell. God bless. Cecilia.
Summer Holidays ahead and as I am the only one doing the web-site at present, when I am away I will not have access to info or a computer internet link. I will endeavour to keep updated, but please be patient. The Presbytery office will be open at the usual times when Father Nolan is away during August.
Happy holidays folks. God bless. Cecilia.

It is said we learn something new every day. How wonderful this is. Especially if it means it benefits us or others now or in the future. Having left school in 1960 the routine of the classroom is long forgotten, but the delights of the internet and learning to manage a website is fascinating.
Long live learning. Cecilia.
The presence of a Church Web-site has been announced to parishioners, so I am hoping many will visit the site and come up with ideas on the way forward.
Another page has been introduced for Parishioner's input and a poem from Mr Chris O'Shaugnessy is the first entry.
Hello. Well everything seems to be taking off and panning out ok. My nephew Andrew has inserted the picture of the Church on the home page and sorted out search engines.
Thank you Andrew. Much appreciated.
Now it just remains for the parishioners to add suggestions as to the content. The ultimate content of course remains at the discretion of our Parish Priest, the Reverend Father James Nolan.
Thank you in anticipation. Cecilia Skudder

Wow. Everything is taking off! I have now put several pages in place and the ideas are flowing through my mind. If any readers have any suggestions as to content etc, do please leave a comment.
Like any new venture (baby), it is expected to grow and learn and be useful for the community.
God bless all. Cecilia

Today 1st Sunday of Advent is the first entry for St Anthony's Web-site
Advent is all about looking forward to Jesus coming into the world, and how we must be prepared at all times, for we do not know the hour at which Jesus will come and take us from this world..
The Web-site is looking forward to evolving and entering information to reach a wider audience. Comments will be welcomed.
God bless. Cecilia.
Excited!
